Stay Against Power Tariff Raise Withdrawn By Cheif Justice

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has withdrawn his early given stay order against the proposed hike in electricity rates by NEPRA, reports ARY NEWS.
While hearing his suo moto notice on increase in electricity tariff here Thursday, the CJ withdrew his order on assurance of National Electric Power Regulatory Authority that it would not raise power tariff.
Later, the court adjourned the hearing of the case for three weeks and ordered the government to present all record related to the case before the court in next hearing.
