Suicide Attack in Shangla, 34 killed

SHANGLA: The death toll in Shangla suicide attack at a check-post has increased to 34 including four security men while 36 persons have been injured in the attack.

The death toll in a suicide attack in tehsil Alpori of Shangla district has reached to 20, while 25 others were injured in the incident.
A suicide bomber rammed an explosives laden vehicle with a check post in the incident, reports said.
The troops have cordoned off the area after the attack and launched a search operation after imposition of an unannounced curfew.
An exchange of fire continued between the militants and the troops, sources said.
President Asif Ali Zardari has condemned the attack.
Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has expressed grief over the losses of life in the attack and ordered probe of the incident.
