Supreme Court judge, Chief Justice IHC Take Oath

ISLAMABAD: Justice M Bilal Khan and Justice Sardar Muhammad Aslam today took oath as the chief justice of the Islamabad HighCourt(IHC )and judge of the Supreme Court respectively.
Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar has administered the oath in a ceremony held at. Supreme Court.
President Asif Zardari on Saturday appointed Justice Bilal Khan as the new Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court whereas Justice Sardar Aslam as the judge of Supreme Court of Pakistan.
Justice Khan will retire on December 4, 2011 as IHC chief justice, while Justice Aslam will retire as an SC judge on March 9, 2012. With Justice Aslam’s appointment, the number of SC judges has risen to 21.
