Supreme Judicial Council Meeting Preside By CJ Today

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry will preside a meeting of Supreme Judicial Council today in Supreme Court building.
The meeting will discuss the amendment in judges’ code of conduct in the light of Supreme Court’s recent decision. The council could also review other matter with the permission of Council’s chairman.
Supreme Judicial Council comprised of Supreme Court’s Justice Javed Iqbal, Justice Sardar Muhammad Raza, Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Justice Tariq Pervaiz, and Chief Justice Lahore High Court Justice Khawaja Sharif. Registrar Supreme Court and secretary Supreme Judicial Council Dr. Faqir Hussain will also attend the meeting.
