The UN Security Council condemns Iran attacks, The United Nations Security Council issued a statement condemning the suicide bombing attacks which killed 57 people, six of them commanders in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards. The unanimously approved statement came in response to a letter from Iran’s U.N. ambassador, Mohammad Khazaee, who demanded that the 15-nation council take a stand on the bombing. The Council also called for justice for those who carried out and supported the attacks.|
