The water height at Mangla dam has elevated 2 feet above

ISLAMABAD PAKISTANT:He water height at Mangla dam has elevated 2 feet above the dead level following the rainfall in Kashmir. However, the water level at Tarbela dam has further deepened 1 feet, nearing to the dead-level.
According to the Met Department, water level at Mangla dam has risen 1,041.90 feet above the sea level while usable water reserves have inched up to 1.9 feet.
On the other hand, Tarbela has witnessed further decline it its water altitude, and the current height is just above 17 feet from the minimum level.
Moreover, water level at the dam was recorded at 1,395.16 feet. Incoming water rate of Indus River at Tarbela is 32,000 cusec feet while exit has been recorded at 40,000 cusec feet.
As per Met Department figures, the incoming water rate of Jhelum River at Mangla dam is 28,644 cusec feet while the water leaving the dam is 25,000 cusec feet.
