Top-level meeting for Swat situation underway at Presidency

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaque Pervez Kayani are currently holding a crucial meeting at President House.
According to the channel, chief of Awami National Party (ANP) Asfandyar Wali Khan and Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi are also attending the meeting that is likely to be convened to discuss the recent comments by US various top-rank officials voicing concerns on Pakistan’s internal affairs.
The leaders may also discuss the progress towards peace in Swat after promulgation of Nizam-e-Adl Regulation and ongoing operation against militants in Fata, it was reported.
