Tropical Storm Agatha

Tropical Storm AgathaTropical Storm Agatha has killed 74 people so far and the destruction of the storm is feared to spread a lot. Storm Agatha came in the shape of tropical storm and didn’t give enough time to do appropriate measures.

Land sliding and flooding forced many people to leave their homes. Almost 74,500 are homeless at the moment due to this storm. Many homes were swept away with mud and four children are also included in it. The mud takes every thing with it either homes, trees or a human being. According to reports there are 10 to 14 people still missing and they are feared to dead under mud.

In parts of Guatemala, more than 3 feet of rain fell. There are many roads which are totally destroyed by this storm. The government in El Salvador declared a state of emergency after such high wind storm and rain. United States declared to provide immediate help to the affected area.

The Miami-based US National Hurricane Center said “These rains could cause life-threatening flash floods and mudslides,” now there is little decrease in the storm intensity and have decreased to 30 miles per hour. All the warning issued in the area are now cleared.
