Two Police Among Three Dacoits Caught In DGK

DERA GHAZI KHAN: Three dacoits including two policemen were caught when they broke into a house with intension to commit robbery and kidnap a girl here on Saturday.
According to details, three armed men broke into a house and started robbing residents of money, jewelry and other valuable electronic items, but as they tried to kidnap a girl in the house, she started screaming loudly, alerting area residents.
Consequently, local people caught them only to find two were policemen in guise of robbers who were identified as Ghulam Yaseen, deployed in Jhok Atra police station while the other Sajid Ali was deputed in Kala police station.
Area people staged protest against police department and called higher authorities for taking concrete action against policemen over involvement in robbery and kidnap crimes.
SHO Kot Mubarak told media that policemen-cum-dacoits have been held captive in lockups and a criminal case of attempt to kidnap and dacoity has been lodged against them.
