Foreign Office spokesman has said US dropped demands for access to Abdul Qadir Khan:-

ISLAMABAD: The Foreign Office spokesman has said that US has dropped the demands for access to nuclear scientist Abdul Qadir Khan and India name from the aid bill becasue of Pakistan’s concerns.

“Pakistan doesn’t need any US assistance to secure its nuke arsenal,” the spokesman said at a weekly briefing Thursday (today).

The spokesman Abdul Basit Khan stated that Pakistan’s nuclear assets are fully secure under an effective command and control system.

He urged the international community to play its part for ensuring a strategic balance between Pakistan and India.

Khan hoped that new Indian government would resume the process of composite dialogue between the two countries.
