US Strategy To Full Action Against Taliban in Pakistan

WASHINGTON: U.S. Central Command’s Commander General David Petraeus has said that U.S. wanted full throttled and tangible action against Taliban and the Pakistan government has not excuse for not taking action against Taliban.
Pakistan instead of behaving apologetically taking action sincerely and decisively would have fight out a war against Northeastern Taliban and militant Al Qaeda. The action would be monitored for to weeks and if things do not improve in this period, then new strategy would be formulated.
U.S. TV said that General Petraeus told U.S. officials that the next two weeks were crucial for the survival of Pakistan government. General Petraeus said he and the senior management believe that Pakistan Army headed by Chief of Army Staff, General Ashfaque Pervaiz Kayani has an edge over President Asif Ali Zardari’s civil government.
