| RamiroV33 Hahah I just finished watching David Lynch's "Blue Velvet" here on YouTube on my i-touch and it was great. TheFalloutExperience I hate iPhone's as well. I've had my iPhone for 2 years and I've only used it a handful of times. NeuroTranscendence You wouldn't really be able to make out much details on a small screen. It is also harder to immerse oneself in small screens. Why watch it on a cellphone in a busy environment when you can just totally lose yourself with headphones on a laptop with a better screen. I mean, seriously, even though ultra portable laptops suck, they are at least better and sufficient for movies. Tyler Bentley hahah damn FUCKING telephones kikomiko1 I'm pretty sure you would be able to make out red drapes on almost any modern phone. This isn't 2005. We have big screens and high resolution now. NeuroTranscendence David Lynch's films rely heavily on the symbolism of objects and music. You will not be able to understand his films, due to their non-linearity, without having good picture quality and sound. For example, red drapes are a HUGE symbolism is many of his films, and if you have difficult perceiving them because you're watching on a shit cellphone, then you have disgraced Lynch's mind. These films are meant to be transformative experiences that fundamentally alter our identity with each viewing... kikomiko1 Sure, you might be missing out on some of the audio and visual components, but that's not why we watch movies, is it? You still get the story and the characters, and that's what really matters. David Lynch just sounds like an old man here, especially when he says "telephone." MegaMajestics same thing goes for the ipad Carthsgtr LMAO.. That comment truly made my day! Philsgoodnow Indisputable |
