Water Issue: Pak-India Talks Underway in Lahore

Lahore, Pakistan News: Talks between Indo-Pak Water Commissioners have been started in Lahore on Thursday.
Pakistan is being represented by Water Commissioner Jamaat Ali Shah while Commissioner Oranag Nathan would represent the Indian side.
Sources said that disputed Nemo Bazgo hydro electric project and a dam on River Ravi being constructed by India would be taken up during the negotiations. Reply would also sought from India on the telemetry system installation being floated by Pakistan earlier. Earlier, Pakistan’s Indus Water Commissioner Jamaat Ali Shah received India’s Indus Basin Treaty Commissioner Oranga Nathan at the Lahore Air port today.
